Print your whole wet reverb as audio and treat it like a sample
Your track gains a separate reverb audio layer you can edit like a sample — chop, stretch, pitch shift, reverse, or move it before the dry signal for rhythmic and textural surprises.
  1. 1. Set your reverb to 100% wet (or use a send with the reverb fully wet).
  2. 2. Route that wet signal to a new audio track and arm it to record.
  3. 3. Record the reverb for the duration of your track (or a section) so you have a printed reverb clip.
  4. 4. Edit the printed clip: chop and rearrange, stretch, pitch shift, reverse, or move it earlier than the dry signal.
  5. 5. Try half-speed reverb: stretch the clip to half speed, then cut and reset it every few beats to keep it in time.
Why it works: Printing reverb as audio decouples it from the dry signal, letting you treat it like a sample for rhythmic and textural edits that a send can’t do.
