Load the TR-707 Kit. With record quantize on, record a 1-bar pattern: kick, hi-hat, clap, and 16th-note tambourine (use Push note repeat if you have it, otherwise draw 16ths). Set all hits to max velocity.
Press the Double Loop Length button (:) three times to extend to 8 bars. Set Clip Loop to bars 7–8, arm the track, and overdub-record the tom riff. Then set Clip Loop back to the full 8 bars.
Duplicate that clip across 10 scenes. On scene 9’s clip, set Clip Loop to bars 7–8 so only the tom fill plays when that scene launches.
Load the TR-727 Kit on a new MIDI track. Record the percussion pattern and duplicate the clip across scenes 2–8.
