DEEP HOUSE SUB THICKENER

Compress the reverb, not the sub.

Use a pitch‑tracking bass maker to generate a clean sub from a thin kick. Send that sub to a short plate reverb, then insert a compressor after the reverb to clamp its tail. Set release to an 8th‑note value so the reverb pumps with the groove. This adds sustain without muddying the low end.
