Don't Cut, Saturate Instead

When two sounds blend into one, don't reach for EQ. Add distinct saturation flavors to each and level-match their outputs. Then insert Trackspacer on the music bus, sidechain the vocal, set Amount to 10%, and use a fast Attack with medium Release. You'll get harmonic identity and vocal space without pumping.
