Stack detuned saws via oscillator spread. Assign an envelope to the low-pass filter cutoff with a 1–2 second attack and sustain at maximum. Keep the amp envelope instant so chords strike clearly; the filter then blooms open, creating the soaring pad. Crown it with a large plate reverb.
