LFOs in Live 12’s Mod mode: finally how you’d expect
Ableton's modulators got a quiet rewrite in Live 12 — and the way Mod mode layers movement around a parameter instead of hijacking it is worth a session just to hear it. That's the one to open first.
▶ Live 12’s Mod mode opens up offsetting LFO movement
Mod mode layers modulation around a knob’s current position instead of replacing it. Stack two stray LFOs on cutoff and resonance for evolving acid lines that don’t jump out of the sweet spot.

▶ Chopping Wu-Tang for a Bibi & Kettama bassline flip
A walkthrough that shows why 4-bar vocal chops beat riding the acapella, with a bass modeled on a Prospa set. The drop lands on B to lock with ‘Protect Ya Neck’ — the transpose move is the takeaway.
▶ Knocking drums in Reason the Decap way, with stock devices
Five Combinator modules approximate Knock’s architecture, and the sub trick uses Stimulant at full harmonic amount. The clipper must sample the dry pair, not the parallel air branch — that routing call is the one to copy.

OScope 2 gets a free beat-synced oscilloscope with LUFS history
Free oscilloscope with waveform grid, spectrogram, and momentary LUFS readout. Sum lanes in the full version (EUR 19 intro) show where kick and bass reinforce or cancel — the collision highlight is the ear-check signal.
Airwindows ConsoleX3 adds expander-based transient snap(free)
Another Airwindows console, but the dynamics section runs as an expander too — useful for pulling down kick bleed while keeping the snap. Free, separate download, not in the Consolidated bundle.
