Drown a 909 ride in 100% wet reverb with long decay, then slam it with OTT to sustain the tail. Print the audio, reverse its tail, place it before the downbeat so the swell leads in. Place the ride hit a 16th-note earlier for alive syncopation. When full arrangement plays, cut reverb to half; the gesture stays.
