Yoruba Records was founded in 1999. The label is based in Greece. It is operated by artist and producer Osunlade. Yoruba Records releases house music ranging from deep house to soulful jazz, and has expanded into jazz, soul, and alternative electronic. The label runs a sublabel named Yoruba Soul and is itself a sublabel of Defected. It has released more than 300 records. The label was founded on the ideals of the beliefs of Ifa. Colin Boardway manages the label.
